“I played electric bass with the big bands of Buddy Rich and Woody Herman, and then piano in my own big band. As well as recording a number of CD’s, I wrote and recorded the songs for a big band musical, or movie, called “Bring ‘Em Back!” in which big bands come back playing a new kind of popular music.”
